All of us
stand on the common ground that balanced diet and good nutrition are important
for good health. However when one comes
across buzzwords like “iron deficiency” or being aware that a new multivitamin
just hit the stores, it makes us wonder are we eating right and enough? The chances
it likely is!
A daily dose
of minerals, multivitamin or supplements found on the shelves of supermarkets
could be tempting. The whole point is that nutritional needs are to be met
primarily from foods and it needs to have a positive impact on your health. Yes
agreed that you might need to supplement your diet of certain times, but safety
aspects of consumption of supplements need
to be evaluated. Consumption of too much minerals, vitamins
can have major health issues, so the recommended levels should not exceed.
For some

A lot of us have the habit of overcooking food
to death. It would point to loss of nutritional value whereby vitamins,
minerals, enzymes or antioxidants float around. Cooking not only kills the food,
but makes it lose their nutritional value. Consumption of these foods over
prolonged periods of time develops their own set of health problems as
well. Any vegetables or fruits must be

close to the raw form as possible because this is the way forward.
Not having regular meals
So many
people have the habit of skipping meals. Munching a sandwich with a cup of

also not a good idea as too much pressure is being put on the digestive system

packed and then transported to the airport, then you are in for a shock. The
sad situation is that foods are picked months before it eventually reaches us.

transit time. It is going to enhance the nutritional value of the food that you
are consuming.
Digestion

Once we age,
the body is known to produce fewer enzymes and this would mean all the
important ones which are going to digest or assimilate the food. It would pave
way for common stomach complaints like constipation, heartburn etc.
Stress
This is the
buzzword that we hear a lot in modern times. It has a direct impact on our
immune system as all of us are part of a busy lifestyle. Some are a bit busy
than the others. We are left juggling between our personal and professional
life. All this does take a toll on the body and the immune system becomes weak.
With the help of supplements the gap could be bridged and the body can function
at a better level.

nothing stands in comparison to a balanced diet. If you consume natural based supplements it
ensures a better health for sure. On the other hand if you have formed some bad
habits (like skipping of meal or not consuming organic foods) you might need it
